Waterline Industries Corporation (WIC) and Waterline Alternative Energies (WAE) to host Renewable Energy Education Series for Schools
Waterline Alternative Energies will host a Renewable Energy Education Series on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 5:00 PM at the Waterline Industries Corporation headquarters in Seabrook, NH. This series was designed by the Alternative Energies team as an initiative for schools to become educated on the basics of renewable energy and energy efficiency. We recognize the information gap that exists between where you are and where you need to be in the realm of sustainability. Our team is here to provide any and all of the most valuable information regarding renewable energy solutions in an easy 1, 2, 3 format, in order to prevent your school from “falling through the cracks”.
As a designer, distributor and installer of renewable energy solutions, Waterline will educate school participants on all facets of the renewable world, starting with the “need to know” topics. Become educated on what types of solutions are available, how they work, average project time frames, average installation costs, energy savings statistics, state and federal rebate programs and more.
Joining the Waterline team will be Rob Howe, Sustainability Consulting Manager from Environment Compliance Services (ECS). Rob’s company provides sustainability consulting services to reduce operations costs and environmental impacts while improving social responsibility and brand image. The ECS approach to sustainability is comprehensive and includes a hands-on approach to: energy, waste, water, purchasing practices, carbon management strategy and reporting, environmental health and safety, and education and training. Rob will discuss how ECS can help you to integrate your organization’s goals and objectives with effective sustainability solutions.
Times are rapidly changing, and in just a few years it is going to be imperative that our nation’s carbon footprint, as a whole, be significantly decreased. Get an early start and join us for “BRIDGING THE GAP,” a renewable energy education series for your school.
We are offering this class at NO COST and will provide food and beverage. Give us a call today to save your seat!

Waterline Industries Corporation (WIC) and Waterline Alternative Energies (WAE) Announce "Go Green" Initiative
Waterline Industries Corporation is pleased to announce that their intitiative to “Go Green” commenced on Monday, December 14th with the installation of an all American-made solar system to their corporate headquarters in Seabrook, NH. Waterline purchased a total of 12, 216 Watt solar panels from Sharp® USA, totaling 2.6kW of solar power. The system is estimated to produce 3,600 KW hours/year. That is equivalent to 36% of the average American family’s household electricity usage.
The installation was done by Waterline’s own staff of licensed electricians and installers from the Waterline Alternative Energies affiliate company. 2 eleven foot top of pole mounts, supplied by Power-Fab of New Mexico, were ground-mounted at the headquarters location, with 6 panels connected on each. The total solar array of each pole stands at 15 feet tall. The inverters that were provided to Waterline by Solectria Renewables of Lawrence, MA, will allow the company to view the power output numbers on a daily, weekly, monthly and lifetime basis. The project was completed on Friday, December 18th.
With the government incentives and rebates available for all renewable energy solution installations, Waterline Industries was able to receive 30% of the total project cost in grant money from the federal government. For this particular project, that 30% is equivalent to $6,000.
“As a company, we believe that it is important to get away from our dependency on foreign oil and other non renewable sources. Waterline is proud to become part of the renewable revolution and to continue reducing our carbon footprint. Solar is just one of the many steps we intend to take, with the cooperation of all employees, to make a change for the environment.” – Ralph Dumke, President of Waterline Industries Corporation
